An introduction

I am not really sure what I am doing.   I can use a word processor and write a story, letter, etc.  But ask me do something creative like design a web page or figure out this blog thing and I am lost.  I guess that is because I am right brained dominate.  Math is not my thing.  Reading instructional manuals leave me confused.  Now if someone shows me the steps and I repeat them a couple of times then I can go back and read the manuel and usually muddle through it.  I am doing this blog thing all because of one event that changed my life.  Some would say that deciding to change my career from HS art teacher to go back to school and become an EMT had a major impact.  It did but not to the extent that entering a writing contest sponsored by Avon affected me.  I did not know what I was getting into.  I met a number of amazing people.  I cannot mention all of their here.  I became adicted to writing and story telling.  Now I belong to the Write Romance Group, FanLit, RWA, HBA RWA, and Celtic Hearts Romance Writers.  Will I be a published writer someday?  I hope so.

I almost forgot.  I wrote a Nano Novel.  Gryfan and Brigit would not forgive me if I forgot about them and the fate of Arcadia.

    Thanks Chris and Laurie. It will probably take me a while to figure out how to navigate this site. Monday, I go to the RT convention. So it may be a while before I am up and running

    The blog looks great Gladys :) Someday I will venture into the professional world and do one that is NOT on myspace so that I can add everyone’s links :) In the meantime I have added you to my favorites,the only thing I like better about the myspace blogs is you can subscribe to them there so you get an email whenever there is a new one :D
